Data collected

When signing in with Google or Discord: your name, email address and profile picture.

If you link your Steam account: your public Steam ID, your game library, playtime and unlocked achievements, via the public Steam API. Quested never has access to your password.

If you link your PlayStation Network account by entering your public username: your PSN account ID, your game library and trophies, fetched through a service account dedicated to Quested. You never need to enter your PlayStation credentials, and Quested never sees them.

If you link your Xbox account by entering your public gamertag: your Xbox ID, your game library and achievements, fetched through OpenXBL, a third-party service Quested uses to access the Xbox Live API. You never need to enter your Microsoft credentials, and Quested never sees them.

When using the site: the games you add to your library, their status, your rating and your personal notes.

Purpose

This data is only used to run the service: authenticate you, display your public profile, and power your game library.

Who receives this data

Google or Discord: authentication.

Steam, PlayStation Network and Xbox: if you link one of these accounts, to import your library and achievements. Xbox goes through OpenXBL, a third-party service used to access the Xbox Live API.

Neon: database hosting (European Union).

Vercel: site hosting.

IGDB and RAWG: game search — never receive your personal data, only the search terms.

Retention period

Your data is kept as long as your account exists, and deleted immediately and permanently if you delete your account.

Cookies

Quested only uses a session cookie strictly necessary for signing in. No advertising or analytics cookies are used.

Your rights

You can export or delete all your data at any time from the Account page. For any other request (rectification, question), contact contact@arnaudroyer.fr. You can also file a complaint with your local data protection authority.
